TickTune — Disclaimer (Draft)

1. User-supplied content. All music, images, backgrounds, and links loaded into TickTune are supplied by the user. The user bears full responsibility for owning or holding sufficient rights to that content and for the legality of its use. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, TickTune and its developer accept no responsibility or liability arising from user-supplied content.

2. No affiliation. TickTune is an independent open-source project. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any brand or organization — including, without limitation, YouTube or Google LLC. All trademarks belong to their respective owners.

3. Desktop only. TickTune is not available on mobile devices. If you see the mobile block screen: please use a desktop browser and try again.

4. No storage or transmission of your files. Local files are processed entirely inside your browser and held in memory for the current session only. They are never uploaded to any server. Closing or reloading the tab clears the playlist (the app warns first).

5. YouTube playback. YouTube content plays exclusively through the official embedded YouTube player, subject to YouTube’s Terms of Service. TickTune never extracts, downloads, or re-streams audio or video. Whether a given video is playable (existence, embedding permission, age or region restrictions) is determined by YouTube and the video owner.

6. “AS IS”. The software and the hosted service are provided “AS IS” without warranties of any kind, in the spirit of GPL-3.0 §15–§16. Timing display is provided on a best-effort basis and should not be relied upon where precise timing is safety- or business-critical.
